The Northern Cape region in South Africa is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated, wildest, and beautiful areas in South Africa. Here you will find desert landscapes, impressive national parks, a lonely Atlantic coast, and the fringes of the Kalahari, which have particularly captivated me. The region is the least populated in the country. We explored it as part of a road trip starting from Cape Town. Take 2 to 3 weeks to explore everything stress-free.
