Hotel Tip Alila Hinu Bay (Mirbat, Oman)

Are you looking to escape the German winter or unwind after a road trip in Oman? Then check out the Alila Hinu Bay (5 stars) in Mirbat in southern Oman. The rooms and villas offer an ideal mix of luxury, comfort, and top-notch quality.

I have previously had the pleasure of staying at two Alila hotels in Bali. I was already familiar with their quality and class. When I learned that there is also an Alila hotel in Oman, I had to go.

The hotel is about 1.5 hours from Salalah Airport and is easily accessible via a pristine highway. Nestled between Jabal Samhan and the Arabian Sea, it provides tranquility, two beautiful pools, a private beach, and the option to book spa treatments.

You can choose from three categories:

You have the option of half board (without drinks) or full board (without drinks). There are two restaurants: SeaSalt and The Orchard. We opted for half board and had dinner in both restaurants once each. You will receive a program for your stay upon arrival. Depending on the themed nights, you can decide in which restaurant you would like to dine.

Do you have your own car like we did? Then you can explore the region on your own. We received valuable tips for oases and wadis that we hadn't found in any guidebook before.
