Best Things to Do:
Bali Blog
Bali is considered a paradise and dream destination. It becomes more popular every year, which poses problems for locals: traffic congestion, gentrification, and an increasing number of traditional places turning into touristy hipster locations.
Even though a few of my friends now live in Bali, they turn a blind eye to overtourism and simply enjoy the affordable yet high standard of living there. Is this sustainable for the actual residents in the long run? I have my own opinion, and it is not positive. I first visited here 20 years ago and have to note a negative development. Not to mention the growing mountains of trash.
The Hindu culture is still quite interesting, and there is something for everyone: luxury hotels in beautiful locations for honeymooners and package tourists, and numerous options for individual tourists to surf, dive, or practice yoga.
In my travel reports for Bali, you will find all the information and tips you need to know before your trip to Bali.

Best Time to Visit Bali
The officially recommended best travel time for Bali is from April to October. November marks the beginning of the rainy season, which comes with extremely high humidity. It often rains briefly but heavily, causing the streets in Ubud to suddenly be half a meter underwater. You should also know that during the rainy season, extreme amounts of trash are washed up on the beaches. It's not fun to see the towering mountains of trash (not an exaggeration).
